Microsoft cites Vector Center as global innovator as part of their Social Entrepreneurship Program

Vector Center has been featured by Microsoft as part of the one year anniversary of their Social Entrepreneurship Program. The program helps startups with a social impact by providing technology and grants. Previously, Vector Center was awarded a grant as part of the Microsoft AI4Earth program, before becoming part of the entrepreneurship program. From Microsoft:

Our program helps them with their unique visions for life-changing products and services across industries. Harnessing our technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), to fuel their ideas, they’re spearheading new approaches and philosophies to generate inspiration and hope...Take Vector Center, which provides decision-grade intelligence and global guidance to businesses, governments, and institutions. The U.S.-based company with an office in Geneva was featured in our 2020 Environmental Sustainability Report, highlighting its Perception Reality Engine. Built on Azure, the engine collects, organizes, and analyzes water- and climate-related data globally in real-time using a combination of state-of-the-art satellite data, social sentiment analysis, and on-the-ground investigative research. As a result, it can deliver focused intelligence, scenarios, contexts, and inform response strategies. This solution fits into Vector Center's mission of working with customers to predict and understand how climate change and growing water scarcity impact stability, supply chains, and sustainability.Vector Center is just one of the many companies in our Social Entrepreneurship program and we are grateful for their partnership. We recognize that it’s all of our collective responsibility to help create a sustainable, accessible, and equitable world. We look forward to doing our part and helping others achieve their goals.
